I've been thinking about the proper way
to apologize for my behaviour,
I should have made the effort on Saturday
but I couldn't do any better.
When I heard your voice on the receiver
I thought I was still dreaming,
I wanted to call you back
but inside me I was screaming.
I went out and the wind was playing
silent music on the branches of the trees,
by now I got too used to smiling
coz smiles are reminders of my dreams.
And it's these dreams that have made
all the harshest pains bearable,
but it's people like my family, friends and you
that show me of what I am capable.
So I am sorry I didn't call
sorry didn't break down the wall,
but I have to get up from my fall
and deal with it all.
But everything balances out
it's like I always say,
everything happens for a reason
and life will find a way.
